Service Manager

A fantastic new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Service Manager to manage in an exceptional nursing home service based in the Stoke-on-Trent area. As a Service Manager you will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers.

This special service provides support and accommodation for individuals with autism and behaviours that challenge. They provide quality support that is based on respect for individuals and their right to make choices. The support is focused on individual needs and enabling people to live as independently as possible.

As a Service Manager your day to day duties include:
• Dedicated to undertaking the management of supporting people with learning disabilities and other complex needs
• Committed to quality assurance
• Effectively lead and inspire your team to provide the highest quality person-centred support and care
• Be responsible for delivering best practice in social care whilst continually developing the service
• Have the opportunity to use your skills in an environment where the effective management of people and processes will be critical to the services success

An ideal Service Manager must have these skills and experiences as they are beneficial for this position:
• Commitment to delivering high quality care
• Previous managerial experience in a similar environment
• Strong working knowledge of regulatory standards
• Fine tuned decision making skills
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Flexibility and strong “can do” attitude

The successful Service Manager will receive an excellent annual salary up to £35,000 per annum. This exciting position is a Full Time role working 37.5 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:

To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Nurse either RGN, RMN or RNLD
